Tips:
☛ While not guaranteed, there have been cases where more Disney Premier Access for Fantasy Springs’ rides are released later during the day. So check back in during the day if you could not secure it in the morning.
☛ You can purchase the 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic if you stay at eligible Disney Hotels. The passport allows you to enter the area unlimited times and enjoy the rides in Fantasy Springs with shorter waiting time as many times as you want. If you choose to purchase the passport, the best time to use it is in the morning when the area has the least guests.
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey (アナとエルサのフローズンジャーニー)
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey is the most popular ride in the Fantasy Springs area, so its Disney Premier Access and Standby Pass run out first. On a busy day, the passes run out within 15 minutes after Tokyo DisneySea opens. As it is rare for those with a Standby Pass to cancel it, arriving early at Tokyo DisneySea is essential if you want to get on that ride.
Even with a Standby Pass, the waiting time can still be 2 hours long! So, if you really want to ride Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, ensure that you factor the waiting time into your plan.
Because the ride is still very new, the chances that it is under maintenance are much higher than the other rides in the resort.
- If the attraction is under maintenance when the park opens, a Standby Pass won’t be issued until the work is completed.
- If the ride is closed for maintenance during the day and you were not able to get onto the ride on the day, a special pass will be issued to you as compensation.
Tips:
For an idea of how early you need to be at Tokyo DisneySea, refer to our Guide to What Time to Arrive Tokyo Disney Resort article.
☛ If you do not want to get wet, avoid the side seats on the front row. The middle seats on the front row are safe. However, the kart floor is likely still wet, so remember to bring a big plastic bag to hold your handbags or backpack if you don’t want them to get wet.
Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies (フェアリーティンカーベルのビジーバギー)
Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies’s Standby Pass usually runs out 2 hours after DisneySea opens.
As only the Standby Pass is issued for the ride, getting its Standby Pass is the second hardest in the area.
Note that you will find this attraction more interesting after watching the Tinker Bell film series. It is basically a ride for young children and older people to enjoy. While the experience time is short, the waiting time is pretty short as well.
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival (ラプンツェルのランタンフェスティバル)
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival’s Standby Pass also usually runs out 2 hours after DisneySea opens. If the day is less busy, you might still be able to get the pass up to 2.5 hours after the park opens.
If you want to get a Disney Premier Pass, it is usually sold out for Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival around 2 to 3 hours after the park opens. As the ride is rather slow, it will be suitable for all children. However, if you are seeking more thrillers or adventurous rides, this ride may not be for you. This may make you question whether the Disney Premier Pass will be worth the purchase.
But we won’t give Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival a pass! The lantern scene is just breathtaking. As part of the ride is outdoor, the attraction has a different vibe during the day and at night.
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure (ビーターバンのネバーランドアドベンチャー)
The Standby Pass for Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is the easiest to get in Fantasy Spring. You are likely to be able to get it even after the park has opened for 2.5 hours!
So getting the Standby Pass for Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is possible after you get your first Standby Pass.
Regarding Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure’s Disney Premier Access, you can usually still purchase it around 3 hours after DisneySea opens on a busy day. During the off-season, you might still be able to buy it in the afternoon.
Important: The movement of Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is the most intense in Fantasy Spring and requires 3D glasses. If you tend to get motion sickness from 3D rides, you might want to avoid the ride.
