- Get an ID Sticker and fill in your information so the staff knows who to contact in case of a lost child.
- Utilize the Rider Switch Service (交代利用サービス) so that you and your partner can both enjoy the attractions that your child would not be able to ride due to height restrictions. It is the same as Universal Studios Japan‘s Child Switch Service.
- The Baby Center (ベビーセンター) has everything you need to keep your baby and toddler happy and comfortable. It is also where the park’s breastfeeding rooms are located.
- Refer to HERE for more information about Tokyo Disney Resort’s Baby Center, including baby-related items that can be purchased.
- Reserve the restaurants with sofa seats so that there is extra space for your children to move around while eating.
- Utilize the Disney Mobile Order service and reserve a restaurant’s Priority Seating where possible.
- Visit the attractions your children would want to ride in the morning before they get tired.
- Consider purchasing the Disney Premier Access service.

Getting a Commemorative or a Birthday Sticker
If it is your first time visiting the Tokyo Disney Resort, you might want to get a “My 1st Visit” sticker from the staff as a souvenir. As the staff won’t check whether it is your first time or not, you can still get the sticker even if you have visited the resort already.
In addition, Tokyo Disney Resort also gives out Birthday stickers to its guests. When the staff sees the sticker on your clothes, they will most likely do something special for you to celebrate your birthday (such as simple drawings).
Refer to HERE for the places where you can get the sticker from.

Visiting Tokyo Disney Resort With a 0-Year-Old Baby
If you plan to visit Tokyo Disney Resort with a baby, it is probably just another day outing for him/her. We recommend taking your time slow and soaking in the theme park’s vibe. As getting to the park early is probably not an option, decide which Priority Pass or Disney Premier Access to get beforehand while taking into account of your baby’s condition.
A good restaurant to dine with a 0 year old is Blue Bayou Restaurant (ブルーバイユー・レストラン). It is a restaurant where you can relax with your baby during napping time. The decoration of the French restaurant is inspired by a blue cove and offers Kids’ Menu and a Vegetarian Course!
Tip: Reserve the restaurant using Disney Resort’s Priority Seating service.

Visiting Tokyo Disney Resort With a 1 to 2 Years Old Toddler
You might have already introduced different Disney characters to your child by the time they reach 1 or 2 years old, so a trip to Tokyo Disneyland may be exciting for them too! So emphasizing on your child’s pace and meeting their favorite characters rather than visiting as many rides as possible is probably a good idea because guess what? They will get tired much faster!
- Renting a pram is highly recommended to make it less tiring for your children. Your 1,000 yen will be well spent.
- Bring a picnic blanket so that the family can sit on it while waiting for the parades to start.
Restaurant Hokusai (れすとらん北齋) is a good restaurant to visit with a toddler. It is also the only Japanese restaurant in Tokyo Disney Resort. Vegetarian options are usually available, too.
You can also dine at Ristorante di Canaletto (リストランテ・ディ・カナレット). If you sit on the terrace, your child can greet the other visitors and cast members on the gondolier that runs along the canal.
Tip: Reserve the restaurant using Disney Resort’s Priority Seating service.

Visiting Tokyo Disneyland With 3 to 4 Years Old Children
Children who are 3 to 4 years of age are generally full of energy when they are awake. They might also be less impatient too! So Priority Pass and Disney Premier Access are almost essential to keep them entertained. In addition, visit the popular rides/attractions in the morning before they get too tired. Moreover, ensure that their popcorn buckets are not empty. You can also get some churros to distract them during waiting periods.
A 3 or 4 years old is generally old enough to enjoy the parades in Tokyo Disney Resort. So utilize the lunch hours by observing the parade with takeaway food. In addition to the restaurants mentioned below, consider bringing the kids to one of the restaurants so that they can enjoy the show while snacking!
- Tomorrowland Terrace (トゥモローランド・テラス)
- Captain Hook’s Galley (キャプテンフックス・ギャレー)
- Huey, Dewey and Louie’s Good Time Cafe (ヒューイ・デューイ・ルーイのグッドタイム・カフェ)

Tip: If your little girl loves princesses, take her to Tokyo Disneyland Hotel Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (ビディ・バビディ・ブティック) and transform her into a little princess! Reservation is highly recommended.
Visiting Tokyo Disneyland With Children of 5 Years or Older
When children reach around 5 years of age, they are usually tall enough to be able to get onto most rides in Tokyo Disney Resort. So maybe consider arriving at the theme park earlier to secure more Priority Passes!
You can also choose to utilize the Early Evening Passport or Weeknight Passport. While you won’t be able to spend time in the park during the day, the waiting time for the rides that younger children are interested in tend to be less busy. After all, most of them would be too tired to stay for an entire day, and those who have entered the park in the morning might have already left in the late afternoon.
Here are a few restaurants closer to the popular rides and do not require a reservation to enter either:
- Plazma Ray’s Diner (プラズマ・レイズ・ダイナー)
- Grandma Sara’s Kitchen (グランマ・サラのキッチン)
- Hungry Bear Restaurant (ハングリーベア・レストラン)
