Getting a Tokyo Disney Resort Commemorative or a Birthday Sticker

If it is your first time visiting Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea, you may want to ask the staff for a “My 1st Visit” sticker as a souvenir. Since the staff won’t check whether it is your first time or not, you can still receive the sticker even if you have visited the resort before.

Additionally, Tokyo Disney Resort also distributes birthday stickers to its guests. When the staff sees the sticker on your clothes, they will most likely do something special for you to celebrate your birthday (such as simple drawings).

Refer to HERE for the locations where you can obtain the sticker.

How to Enjoy Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea With a 0-Year-Old Baby

If you plan to visit Tokyo Disney Resort with an infant, it is probably just another day out for him/her. We recommend taking your time slow and soaking in the theme park’s vibe. As getting to the park early is probably not an option, decide which Priority Pass (previously Tokyo Disneyland FastPass) or Disney Premier Access to purchase beforehand, while taking into account your baby’s condition.

A good restaurant to dine with a 0-year-old is Blue Bayou Restaurant (ブルーバイユー・レストラン). It is a restaurant where you can relax with your baby during nap time. The décor of the French restaurant is inspired by a blue cove and offers a Kids’ Menu and a Vegetarian Course.

Tip: Reserve a table at the restaurant using Disney Resort’s Priority Seating service.

How to Enjoy Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea With a 1 to 2-Year-Old Toddler

You might have already introduced different Disney characters to your child by the time they reach 1 or 2 years old, so a trip to Tokyo Disneyland may be exciting for them too! So emphasizing on your child’s pace and meeting their favorite characters rather than visiting as many rides as possible is probably a good idea because guess what? They will get tired much faster!

  • Renting a stroller is highly recommended to make it less tiring for your children when exploring Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Your 1,000 yen will be well spent.
  • Bring a picnic blanket so that the family can sit on it while waiting for the parades to start.

Restaurant Hokusai (れすとらん北齋) is a good restaurant to visit with a toddler. It is also the only Japanese restaurant in Tokyo Disney Resort. Vegetarian options are usually available, too.

You can also dine at Ristorante di Canaletto (リストランテ・ディ・カナレット). If you sit on the terrace, your child can greet the other visitors and cast members on the gondolier that runs along the canal.

Tip: Reserve the restaurant using Disney Resort’s Priority Seating service.

How to Enjoy Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea With 3 to 4-Year-Old Children

Children who are 3 to 4 years of age are generally full of energy when they are awake. They might also be less impatient too! So Priority Pass (previously Tokyo Disneyland Fastpass) and Disney Premier Access are almost essential to keep them entertained. In addition, visit the popular rides/attractions in the morning before they get too tired. Moreover, ensure that their popcorn buckets are not empty. You can also get some churros to distract them during waiting periods.

A 3 or 4-year-old is generally old enough to enjoy the parades in Tokyo Disney Resort. So utilize the lunch hours by observing the parade with takeaway food. In addition to the restaurants mentioned below, consider bringing the kids to one of these restaurants so they can enjoy the show while snacking.

Tip: If your little girl loves princesses, take her to Tokyo Disneyland Hotel Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (ビディ・バビディ・ブティック) and transform her into a little princess! Reservation is highly recommended.

Tokyo Disneyland Rides for Kids (5 Years or Older)

When children reach around 5 years of age, they are usually tall enough to ride most rides in Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. So, consider arriving at the theme park earlier to secure more Priority Passes.

You can also choose to utilize the Early Evening Passport or Weeknight Passport. While you won’t be able to spend time in the park during the day, the waiting time for the rides that interest younger children tends to be less busy. After all, most of them would be too tired to stay for an entire day, and those who have entered the park in the morning might have already left in the late afternoon.

Here are a few restaurants closer to the popular rides that do not require a reservation to enter:
